The first plasma collection center in the South of the Country was inaugurated in Yazd

The plasma donation center of Yazd was inaugurated by Dr.Jokar, the representative of Yazd in the Islamic Council, the Head of the Cultural Commission of the City Council, the Director of IRIB, the Director General of the security department, and a group of officials from the food and medicine department, the Medical System Organization and the owners of Yazd industries.
Dr. Hamidreza Beheshti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Poura Darou Iranian Group, stated at the opening ceremony of the Yazd Plasma Donation Center: Fifty people will be employed directly and One Hundred people indirectly with the establishment of the Yazd Plasma Donation Center.
The CEO of the Yazd Plasma Donation Center said: the cultural building of the donation center, will save many patients in the country, especially those with hemophilia and immune system deficiency,  which is the biggest event that this Center will achieve.
He said: Plasma is very important as one of the derivatives of blood and this valuable substance can be used as a raw material in the production of many medicines.
Mohammad Saleh Jokar, the representative of the people of Yazd in the Islamic Council, said in this ceremony: Today, more than 30 types of plasma products are commercialized in the world, and the amount of demand in this regard is increasing every day. The production of all kinds of medicines in Yazd is one of the executive requirements for the scientific development of this Province; it is necessary for Government officials to cooperate and support the Private Sector officials in order to achieve tremendous results.
